Moving through this experience of life, I've come to notice that to have an exceptional experience, there has to be a commitment to intentionality to make the moment exceed expectations. This essence is something you're born with and can only be taught to those who desire to learn it. Do you want to enhance the moment or fall victim to it? Reality is something experienced as well as created. It is to take the initiative and transform an everyday, mundane moment, sprinkling it with who you are on a soul level. Over time, I have accumulated tools for my tool belt in human services and the customer service industry. There is a genuine passion to uncover the experience one deserves rather than settle for what we're willing to accept.

Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with significant physical disabilities and mobility limitations, promoting independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life within their homes and communities.
Provide extensive hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, dressing, wheelchair mobility, positioning, and physically demanding transfers. Provide medication assistance in accordance with established care plans and support daily routines through meal preparation, grocery shopping, housekeeping, and maintaining a safe, comfortable living environment.
Coordinate medical appointments and transportation, and accompany individuals to healthcare visits to help maintain continuity of daily care, routines, and communication.
Encourage mobility and physical independence through safe assistance with standing, stretching, movement, and reinforcement of recommended exercises within each individual's abilities and care plan. Provide consistent encouragement and positive reinforcement to help individuals recognize their capabilities, build confidence, maintain functional movement, and stay actively engaged in what they can do for themselves.
Maintain an active, attentive presence throughout each shift, proactively identifying personal, household, mobility, and daily-living needs rather than simply waiting for assistance to be requested.
Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support through patience, compassion, encouragement, and genuine human connection. Respect each individual's choices, preferences, and abilities while fostering an environment in which they feel capable, valued, heard, and supported—without compromising their autonomy or dignity.
